normally, I'm not a fan of pairing abbreviations - I prefer just using full names of the characters, but this one actually rolls of the tongue nicely, so here it is - my title.

a dragon age secret santa gift for [link]

she mentioned liking Isabela and Fenris together, so I used elements of his lyrium tatoos (the part framing center disk is supposed to roughly resemble markings on his chin, while curves on the sides are taken from markings on his feet) and her necklace to create a sort of design amalgamation.

brass, german silver and chalk turquoise, sketched, pierced by hand, formed with dapping punches and block, center disk was etched first. soldered together and added antiquing and polish.

I.. umm... cheated and reused the pattern i made for Isabela's necklace replica. or maybe cheated is a wrong word, since it IS supposed to have elements of Isabela after all :D

Dragon Age 2 and its characters are copyright of Bioware, EA, I'm just playing with the toys they gave me.

this particular necklace was designed and created especially for that exchange, so its the only one in existence. if I were to price it, I'm afraid it would be too expensive to sell on etsy, even at a modest hourly wage. I also feel uncomfortable making unauthorized fanart for sale. commissions and gifts feel differently, my mind shifts into completely different state, especially when it comes to gifts. I know others don't feel the discomfort that I do and its a personal choice for everyone.
